Raven Gerzesik
Raven Grzesik serves as the Project/Training Supervisor at ScansAmerica. Originally from Oklahoma, Raven relocated to Virginia in early 2021 and began her journey with the company in September of that year. Since joining, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of the full project lifecycle, from intake to Quality Assurance 2.
With expertise in executing pilot boxes for nearly every new project received over the past two and a half years, Raven ensures strict adherence to project specifications and provides recommendations for optimal preparation processes. In addition to her project management skills, Raven trains both new hires and seasoned employees across various roles, including document preparation, scanning, quality assurance, rescanning, and large format scanning.
Raven is passionate about overseeing project needs, meeting deadlines, and addressing any challenges that arise to deliver the highest quality outcomes. A natural problem solver, she is committed to handling issues with efficiency and precision. As she steps into her new role, Raven is eager to continue driving excellence and innovation at ScansAmerica.
James Perry
James Perry serves as the Operations Manager at ScansAmerica, where he plays a key role in optimizing project workflows through expert consultation on production specifications and software configuration. His leadership ensures seamless communication with external stakeholders while managing the production calendar to maintain project timelines and objectives.
With extensive experience in every stage of the document scanning process, James has held various roles within the company, including Night Shift Supervisor and Lead Project Manager. His expertise allows him to oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, from initial planning with sales teams and customers to delivering precise, final deliverables. Whether it’s working with local governments, private companies, or the US Navy, James has a proven track record of transforming outdated file systems into organized, digital records.
A lifelong resident of Hampton Roads, James holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the College of William and Mary. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time at the movies or exploring local coffee shops. His diverse background includes freelance non-fiction writing and a knack for managing data, which adds to his well-rounded approach to operations at ScansAmerica
Sandra Pickett
Sandra Pickett, a native of Hampton, VA, has been a dedicated team member at ScansAmerica for over a decade. Throughout her tenure, she has developed expertise in managing multiple aspects of production, including large format and book scanning, meticulous document preparation, and other critical operational duties.
Sandra excels in training, mentoring, and onboarding new team members, ensuring they meet the highest standards of precision and efficiency. With a deep commitment to safety and compliance, she has transitioned from an administrative specialist to a seasoned leader in warehouse operations, optimizing project flow from intake to preparation and maintaining operational excellence.
Guided by core values of reliability, dependability, and integrity, Sandra continuously strives for improvement and upholds ScansAmerica’s mission of excellence. Her unwavering commitment to these principles underscores her invaluable role in the company’s success.
Melissa Jeffries
Melissa Jeffries joined ScansAmerica in June 2021, quickly mastering the company's processes and advancing to a trainer role by fall 2022. She has since expanded her responsibilities to include recruitment, payroll, and overseeing production operations. Now serving as Production/Personnel Supervisor, she is dedicated to enhancing efficiency and supporting the team's growth.
